Spain has declared a national lockdown for the next two weeks due to the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. As a consequence, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) and the courts will suspend all deadlines until the end of the lockdown (29 March).
Other European bodies have also made some adjustments: the European Patent Office (based in Germany) will push deadlines starting today until April 17 and the EUIPO (based in Spain) will be extending all time limits expiring between 9 March 2020 and 30 April 2020 to 1 May 2020.
At Esquivel & Martin Santos we will continue to work from the safety of our homes, and our service wil continue without disruption.
