Starting August 1, 2019, WIPO’s Arbitration and Mediation Center will provide domain name dispute resolution services for the .CN and .中国 (China) country code Top-Level Domain (ccTLD), two of the world’s largest ccTLDs. This will be the first institution outside China to provide such services.
WIPO’s Arbitration and Mediation Center is the world's leading provider of domain name dispute resolution, aimed at combatting cybersquatting in a fast and cost-effective manner. The inclusion of these two new country codes, with around 22 million domains registered, is indeed good news for the enhancement of the security and reliabity of the Internet landscape.
